Beach House Releases “B-Sides and Rarities”

Beach House Releases "B-Sides and Rarities" June 30th 2017

Beach House | "B-Sides and Rarities" | New Music | Beatreaper.comJust about everyone who has ever heard of Beach House pretty much loves their music. Their fans love their music so much that they've even taken an extra special liking to their "B-Sides" and their "Rarities." So, what do you do then? If you're Beach House, you release an album of some of your best work which happens to be your "B-Sides and Rarities."

Featuring 2 previously unreleased tracks "Chariot" and "Baseball Diamond" the album has a total of 14 tracks. It includes work from B-Sides from the beginning of their career up until now.

This is the way we see it though. Okay, sure, your B-Sides are good, but doesn't that kind of mean that all of your music is really good then? I mean, usually the way it works is you wear out the popular music, and then when you like a band, group, or duo enough, you start on their "B-Sides" eventually making those your new favorites.

Well, we feel like that's kind of the case here. At any rate, this haunting sultry summery music is coming out just in time for things to start heating up. Ushering in a new season, Beach House will make you want to hit the beach at night, right around dusk, with your headphones on.

They've perfected their use of organ beats, adding just enough reverb to accompany a strong, slightly weathered voice that almost sounds like it's been taken down an octave. Beach House just makes beautiful music. We're glad to see a re-release of sorts with a focus on the rest of their songs, because there are plenty of great ones to go around.
